Monty's Munchies is a healthy and tasty new addition to the dog treat market. The treats are individually lovingly hand crafted for extra taste, and are available in different dog friendly shapes. Monty's Munchies was established in September 2010 by Jesse Lucas. Jesse established Monty's Munchies to fulfil a demand for a healthier, non-derivative tasty treat. His inspiration came from his own dog Monty, who is now a 3 year old Black Labrador Retriever. One day Jesse's father, Paul was listening to LBC on the radio and heard Joe from the 'Campaign for Real Pet Food' advocating his campaign. Paul was extremely surprised when he heard what animal derivatives are used in the great majority of pet food and treats. After further research Paul and Jesse changed Monty's diet to natural “healthy” kibble and “healthy” treats. Although the kibble was relatively difficult to find, healthier treats proved even trickier to obtain.
At this point Jesse actively researched the dog treat market, and was inspired to create his own brand - Monty's Munchies. These were initially given to several dog owning friends who walk in the same park as Monty, and Jesse was bowled over by the positive response. He was inundated by the number of orders for his treats, which prompted him to go in to commercial production. A web site and a larger range of products soon followed with now three pet shops stocking the products to date.

As a vet Joe is passionate about pets and understands how important a good diet is for their health and wellbeing. That is why he set up his own natural pet food company to produce his own brands of high quality natural pet foods.
